Spotlight Friday: Moon

This weekend the sky is having a spectacular show for you in store, actually on Sunday. A rare supermoon eclipse, the next one will not be seen again until 2033.

I don’t think I will be up for this, at this time of night I am usually sound asleep.

The moon is a majestic thing, up there in the sky. A silent watcher, day and night. So powerful, controlling the tides.

But what else does the moon influence?

I know when it is a full moon I have difficulties sleeping. Even when I totally black out every bit of light.  The menstrual cycle is also called the “moon time

I found this great article about the moon affecting life on earth.

I love looking at the moon on a nice clear night. In the winter time when I drop the kids off in School we can see the sun rise on one side of the house and the moon still on the other side getting ready to go down. It is so fascinating. Sometimes the moon seems so close that you could touch it, and sometimes so far away.
